WWF Oasis Padule Orti Bottagone

A 126-hectare nature reserve that preserves what remains of the area’s ancient marshes. A unique environment where brackish and freshwater marshes coexist, ideal habitats for more than 230 species of birds, amphibians, reptiles and small mammals. Here, among reed beds, flooded meadows and bodies of water, it is possible to observe pink flamingos, herons, ospreys and many other rare species in all seasons of the year.

The Oasis, recognized as a Special Area of Conservation and RAMSAR zone, is a perfect place for those who love nature, birdwatching or simply want to have an immersive experience in an unspoiled landscape.
